Jenny Wingate, Partner
Extensive experience of delivering and advising on good governance in the public, not-for-profit and education sector.
Jenny is the governance and policy lead for Olive Academies multi-academy trust. She also provides governance support to other schools and trusts, advising on and carrying out governance reviews, policy and website audits and providing fundraising and bid writing expertise. Jenny has been a vice-chair of a governing body of a maintained primary school and is a Member of the University of Brighton Academies Trust.
Jenny worked as a strategic manager within local government, overseeing a £16m deprivation fund for the London Borough of Southwark, including funding and designing community cohesion projects. She also managed a charity providing governance and funding advice to youth groups in Sussex. Jenny brings an academic background to her work, having achieved a Masters in Public Administration from Warwick Business School.
Flora Jenkins, Partner
Background in education, schools and safeguarding children – with experience of working in the media, PR and communications.
Flora’s career began at the BBC and RDF Media. She went on to manage a national Big Lottery funded project which aimed to improve the relationship between the UK media, journalists and charities. Flora’s career in education started with five years working in primary and secondary schools where she specialised in education welfare and family engagement. She went on to become the Communications Executive for a multi-academy trust and managed the communications for RGB Kew’s schools and learning programme. She has experience as a safeguarding lead governor for a maintained primary school and as a co-opted governor for an SEMH special school. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Flora is currently Director of Communications for the Froebel Trust, the national early childhood education charity.
Lisa Coupal, Associate
Background of working in illustrated non-fiction book publishing as an editor and as a proofreader for a political risk consultancy.
Lisa managed communications for a charity providing infrastructure support to groups working with children and young people in East Sussex. She currently provides freelance social media content and copywriting support to an agency specialising in the regulated utilities sector, as well as for a school trust.
